1) Eligibility and acceptance

You represent that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2) Service description

Engine Switch is a Chrome extension described on the Site. It lets you choose a preferred search engine and route address-bar search to that provider. The Engine Switch extension may save data related to your queries, such as search terms, IP address, and user agent. That data is anonymized and used for monitoring and optimizing the service. Engine Switch is not made by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any third-party search provider.

3) Permitted use

You may use the Services for lawful informational and business purposes. You agree not to:

• violate applicable laws or regulations,
• interfere with service security, availability, or integrity,
• attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts,
• copy, scrape, or republish content in a way that violates law or these Terms,
• misrepresent affiliation with Onchain or Engine Switch.

4) Intellectual property

All content, branding, code, text, graphics, and materials provided through the Services are owned by Engine Switch or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for limited personal or internal business review, no right or license is granted to reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

5) Third-party services and links

The Services may reference or link to third-party websites and services, including search providers. Engine Switch does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.

Your use of third-party services is governed by those third parties' terms and policies.

6) No professional advice

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.

7) Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engine Switch disclaims warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation at all times.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engine Switch and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

9) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Engine Switch from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

10) Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at our discretion if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created legal risk, or harmed service operation.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
